Our first attempt at buying this safe came with a smashed corner and a door that wouldn't open, but return and replacement was as painless as could be. (The thing still weighs a bunch so even moving it outside for fedex to pick up was some effort.) The second attempt arrived and appears flawless. Will it actually keep things safe through a 2 hour fire? I have no idea! But I feel at least I did my due diligence by buying this thing, and piece of mind is really what you are buying with a safe.

The only thing I didn't really like was on the left side of it (were it is stained) it has some light spots on the wood

I really like the Vaultek VLED6 Universal LED Light. It really lights up the safe with additional lighting and they stay on with motion.
