If you’ve got any PCC’s / AR’s with flashlights, etc, it’s the only item I’ve found that hold them up in place nicely.

So I wish I could give Armadillo Safes five stars, and give the product one star. I set the new combo, tested it and it worked. Mounted it on the wall and added rifle. Then when I enter combo it would not open, even with the key it would not open. The mechanism that moves the bar to unlock seemed broken. I had to take a angle grinder to the hinges to get the rifle free. I like the idea of a mechanical rather than electric safe, but it did not work for me, maybe I just got the unlucky lemon.
Similar to other reviewers, I had previously never heard of Armadillo Safes prior to my purchase of their Vaultek RS800i. You really can’t beat their shipping speed and price (free). I expected the safe to ship in a multi-week period of time, however, it shipped almost alarmingly fast (<1 week). They also used FedEx, so I was able to manage my delivery directly through FedEx since I live in a high-rise apartment complex… which was very convenient.
The safe was securely packaged, had no signs of wear and tear, and was exactly as described with no damage to the safe itself.
Armadillo was also offering a safe humidifier ($30 - Shipped directly through Amazon) at the time of my purchase, so you really can’t beat their value with other vendors.
Vault i received was not what i had ordered. It was for a F150 2015-2021. I have made the necessary adjustments to install but took 2.5 hours and one trip to buy a thread tool. I had ordered for a 2024 F-150
My ShotLock shotgun safe arrived and was as described. It included all of the things necessary for me to securely mount my home-defense shotgun within easy reach. Works like a charm!
Installed in my new 2024 F350 and it fits perfectly. I like the fact it comes with the necessary hardware to mount securely. Seems like it's made pretty well, a good type of plastics. Came with plenty of keys as well. Fast shipping and the box arrived in good condition. Will definitely be ordering from Armadillo in the future.
Having both a new NMX2i and and older wifi RS200i, I can see the improved difference in the biometric reader’s ability to read my fingerprints. Much more reliable! In addition to the tech, I wish there was a way to upgrade the RS200i to VISN, so I wouldn’t need two separate Vaultek apps to monitor these.
