TL stands for a tool. Have you ever been to a bank and see the big safe on the corner? That is an insurable UL Vault and the TL is also an insurable TL Vault like that bank vault. The Hollon TL-15 Gun Vaults can withstand even the most sophisticated burglar attacks. The team of experts has punished this baby with everything short of dynamite. They’ve gone at it with sledgehammers, pickaxes, crowbars and pry bars, power saws, chisels, drills, and rotating disc cutters … with no luck.

As if that’s not enough this safe offers added protection against high-intensity fires. That’s right … this TL-15 Gun Vault has passed a factory rated 2 Hour Fire Test Certification while maintaining an internal temperature of 350° F with an external temperature reaching up to 1750° F. We’re talking forest fire strength.

You can get an idea of just how sturdy they are when you find out that each one of the TL15 Safes weighs over 2000 pounds.

These safes will hold up to three sides by barrel shotguns and six pistols, leaving plenty of for ammunition and twenty-three rifles (without scopes). These Gun Safes have engineered support technology that allows you to load it up with heavy ammo and avoid bowing or breaking the shelves.

They also feature 16 - 1.5" chrome bolts. There are a glass re-locker and a hard plate throughout for drill, pry, and pretty much any tool attack protection.

When it comes to locks, Hollon only uses locks made by Sargent and Greenleaf. These safes come standard with a UL Listed Group II-M anti-manipulative lock and additional lock options are available.

Why does Hollon Safe use the more expensive S&G electronic locks over the imports that other brands use?

Sargent and Greenleaf’s have been making locks since 1860 and are known worldwide for the best high-security locks and electronic locks. The locks are all protected with Drill and ballistic resistant hard plate to protect the lock during drill attacks. The only practical way through it is by melting it. Even if a thief managed to get through that, these safes have a dual relocking system that works even if there is no lock left on the safe. This happens because there is a secondary lock hidden on the inside that springs into action should the first lock become compromised.

These locks are also proven to withstand military-level EMP attacks giving you full access to your valuables even after an EMP emergency.

What is an EMP? Electromagnetic pulses (EMP) are short bursts of electromagnetic energy that can interfere or damage electrical equipment, thus disabling their functionality. An EMP can occur naturally with solar flares or can be created by technological devices such as nuclear weapons. The high-energy particles from such an explosion would cascade down to Earth interacting with the planet’s magnetic field and destroy the electronic systems below. This would cripple the nation’s power system.

S&G tested its most popular gun safe locks using the U.S. military’s highest EMP impact standard. An independent lab applied a radiant transient electromagnetic field on a variety of S&G keypads following the Military Standard MIL-STD461F, Method RS105 at 50 kV/m peak exposure. At the end of the testing series, the S&G locks were still fully functional.
