I only use mechanical lock safes as I don't trust electronics where my life depends on it. Have the Shotgun version and wanted these for my new pistols. Couldn't believe the price from Armadillo and was thrilled at the speed of shipping and delivery. Recommended to my other 2A friends.
It’s a shame because it was a gift for my husband and ended up being a project. He didn’t want to return it because he said he can fix it. The entire tree part and back that mounts to the wall were coming off. He took out all the nails and had to replace them as most were not securing the wood in place. The shipping box was in perfect condition so it did not happened in transit. Once my husband fixed it, it’s beautiful.

The biometric fingerprint lock will not program. Without programing the fingerprint lock the safe is useless as anyone can open it. When programing the fingerprint lock, the green light remains steadily illuminated instead of flash as the instructions read. The power cord is only useful if you keep your safe within one foot of an electrical outlet. I would not recommend this safe.
Even though it wasn’t what I ordered. My husband absolutely loved it !
Early review. So far, it's everything I have expected, I just need to purchase new 9v batteries so that the battery operated function works. I'll hopefully get a pic to you a little later. I have 3 firearms inside - 2 hanging and 1 laying. Thanks, Ron Currier.

I had been looking for a safe for some time and found the one that I wanted. A quick google search brought me to Armadillo, who had the safe I wanted in stock ready to ship. What I couldn't believe was that shipping was free and the purchase was tax free! Not only that but it was less than a week from my card being charged to the safe being delivered to my door. I didn't opt for the white glove service, but it was nice to know that it was an option. Thanks again to Sarah for all of her help and to the whole team at Armadillo. Would 100% recommend to any one and if I ever needed another safe would shop again.
